GERMAN SHEEPPOODLE

This breed is unknown outside Germany and is rare, if not extinct, even at home. He had a wavy, poodlelike coat that tended to form in cords like the Poodle, Puli and Komondor. In fact, he was probably related to the Puli, as the importation and exportation of sheep between Germany and Hungary was common. And where the sheep went, the sheep dogs followed. The Schafpudel was a good herding dog with drop ears, long tail, and a gentle, tolerant and affectionate nature. Unfortunately, there has been no record of this breed for some time.
