They weigh about 20 to 30 kgs for a male and 18 to 25 kgs for a female. They are a hunting breed and hence have a very distinguished set of physical characters. They are built light and strong. They are lean and have a very muscular structure. The muscles are well defined. The Vizsla breed is similar to some other hunting breed. They have some features that make them resemble other breeds. The Vizsla breed is much smaller and has a more defined muscularature. The nose of the Vizsla is the almost the same colour as that of the coat and that is red. The eyes and the ears are also of almost the same colour and blend in well.

These dogs are very energetic and ready for fun at any time. They are also very affectionate and form bonds very quickly with their owners. Since they have both pointer and retriever genes in them the owner gets the best of both worlds. Since they are very active they need a lot of exercise.
