Field Spaniel

This breed is very typical of all other spaniels. It is of medium build and has silky coat. It is mainly black in color. Some dogs tend to have roan coat. According to standards set by the Kennel Club in the UK, this dog is supposed to weigh between 18 and 25 kg. This is equivalent to between 40 and 55 pounds.

Fila Brasilerio

Another name for Fila Brasilerio is Brazilian Mastiff. This is a very diligent dog that was developed with the main target feature being large size. No wonder this is one of the largest dog breeds ever.

In terms of height, the standard for males should be 29.5 inches. The ideal weight standard is 50kg. Females are often much smaller. In this case, the height should be 23.5 inches and should weight about 40 kg.

Findo

Few people know anything to do with a breed of dog by the name Findo. Well, there exists such a dog breed. This dog breed is found in Iran. There is no wealth of information on morphology of this dog. The coat of this dog is medium-sized and is mostly white in color. Sometimes, this breed occurs with different shades of grey. This occurs occasionally. Sometimes, experts in breeding seem to disagree whether dogs that show these color variances should be regarded as belonging to the Findo breed.

Finnish Hound

The Finnish hound is known for its prowess as a hunter. It came into being during the 18th century through a cross involving Swiss, German, British and Scandinavian hounds. Later on, many other similar dogs were bred. This is the main reason why the Finnis Hound seems rather difficult to pick out from an assortment of many breeds that exist in Europe.

However, with proper regulation of breed cross selection, the Finnish Hound is easier to pick out today. The most significant step towards purification of the breed was done in 1932. The result of this was a clearer definition of features of the Finnish Hound.

Finnish Lapphund

The Finnish Lapphund is a very easygoing breed. It is of medium size and very much typical of the Spitz. Traditionally, this breed was used to herd reindeers. It is also a very good companion at home. It is obedient, diligent and a very versatile dog that can literally learn any skill.

Although this breed is very popular in Finland, it is not very popular in other parts of the world. This breed comes with two lines which are very typical of the original line that is a trademark features for all the breeds that were crossbred in order for this dog to come into being.

Foxhound

Foxhound has very short legs although its entire structure is very elongated. When it walks, it does so gracefully. When it is lively, it is always calm. When it is aggressive, it becomes very nervous. This means that the dog is not suited to hunting. Rather, it is the best domestic companion that anyone can ever ask for.
